The management and board of directors of Wits Basin Precious Minerals Inc., includes business and technical professionals with over 30 years of experience in the mining and mineral exploration business in Canada, South Africa and internationally.

Stephen D. King Chief Executive Officer and Director Mr. King became a director of Wits Basin Precious Minerals in July 2004 and served as the President from March 2006 until September 2006, at which time he was appointed CEO. Mr. King is also the CEO of SDK Investments of Atlanta, Georgia, a financial advisory firm. Mr. King has extensive experience as a financing resource specialist in a variety of business enterprises, including real estate, finance and media.

Dr. Clyde L. Smith President and Director Dr. Smith was appointed President in September 2006 and Director in July 2009. Dr. Smith holds a B.A. from Carleton College, a M.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, and a Ph.D. from the University of Idaho. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Dr. Smith has founded or co-founded five exploration companies and is responsible for the discovery of four deposits: the Jason lead-zinc-silver deposit, Yukon Territory, Canada; the Santa Fe gold deposit, Nevada; the North Lake gold deposit, Saskatchewan, Canada; and the Solidaridad gold-silver-copper deposit, Mexico.

Mark D. Dacko Chief Financial Officer Mr. Dacko has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since March 2003, and our Controller since February 2001. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Dacko was Controller and Secretary at PopMail.com Inc. from January 1999 to January 2001. From November 1995 to December 1998, Mr. Dacko was Controller and Secretary at Woodroast Systems, Inc.

Norman Lowenthal Director Mr. Lowenthal became a director of Wits Basin Precious Minerals in September 2003. Mr. Lowenthal is a South African businessman and is Vice-Chairman of the Taylor Companies, a leading private bank located in Washington, and served as Chairman of SSC Mandarin Financial Services based in Hong Kong up until June 2007. Mr. Lowenthal was Chairman of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange from 1997 to 2000 and currently sits as a member of their Securities Regulation Panel. He was chairman for several public gold and diamond mining companies during the 1990s and has been actively involved in the diamond industry since 1960 assisting in the discovery of several major diamond finds in South Africa.

Dr. Joe Mancuso Director Dr. Joe Mancuso, the founder and CEO of CEO Clubs, Inc., joined the Board of Directors in September 2007. He is an accomplished author and speaker focusing on business-related topics. Dr. Mancuso holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. His doctorate is from Boston University in Educational Administration. He launched CEO Clubs in 1978 and has founded seven other businesses.

Donald S. Stoica Director Mr. Stoica founded SSR Engineering, Inc., a privately-held corporation based in Anaheim, CA that develops high performance radar systems for use in security, navigation, defense and related applications. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SSR Engineering since its inception in 1999.
